Shahwrath + Musician in Potsdam, Brandenburg

Hey, I’m Shahrad!

I’ve been living in Germany for about a year and a half, currently in Potsdam for my studies, and music has always been a big part of my life.

My first instrument was the violin when I was around 14, although I only played for about six months. A few years later, I discovered heavy metal, and that completely changed the way I connected with music. I started taking singing lessons when I was 20 for two year, and later learned electric guitar for about two years.

I’m comfortable with rhythm guitar, have an intermediate understanding of music theory, and can sing both clean and harsh vocals.

Some songs that fit my voice quite well:

Harsh vocals:

I’m mainly looking for a group of people I can feel comfortable with, have fun, cover songs or create our own music, and just enjoy making music together. Singing is probably where I feel most at home, but I’m also happy to play guitar or try other roles.

I’m very open when it comes to musical experiences. I’ve also played a bit of piano and drums and done backing vocals with friends before, so I’m definitely not looking for a strictly “singer only” situation.

Musically, I’m especially into metal and rock, but I’m open-minded and would be happy to explore different styles with the right people. The most important thing for me is finding musicians I connect with and actually enjoy spending time and making music with.
