Goal is U.S. touring and step into the professional music business.

I will soon relocate to Baja California North (Tijuana area). So I m looking for Bands and Gigs in the San Diego / CA area.

My name is Eddy, I was born in 1974 in Austria and I'm a freelancing drummer, I play rhythm guitar, I'm a songwriter and I'm always looking for work.
Beside the music I'm graphic designer and Krav Maga self defense instructor.

Even before I could walk, I made my first experiences on the drums with my father's help. When he saw that I developed in my early childhood keen interest in "making noise" he taught me to play drums. From simple basic exercises to sophisticated techniques.
Most of the time I enjoyed drumming along to music from the tape. As a result, I had an early feeling of playing with a band and I was able to memorize the different drum styles. Like for example from my favorites and drum legends Billy Cobham and John Hiseman.
But also music from Santana, Jimi Hendrix, Klaus Doldinger, Jan Hammer, Mark Knopfler, Mike Oldfield, some Latin rock bands (whose name I can't remember), as well as bands that were anything but mainstream in the late '70s, have strongly influenced my drumming.

In the late '80s came a musical turn.
Instead of fusion jazz rock and Latin rhythms, Blues, Rock'n Roll, Rockabilly and Phychobilly, and playing in different bands of this genres were the main focus.

From the beginning to the mid '90s the drumming came to an absolute stillness because of the work, hobbies, family and travels.

It was in 2016 when I decided to go back on the drums on the request of my wife. This time in San Pedro, Belize. Within seconds, the fire of passion for drumming reawakened. What followed were numerous gigs and jam sessions.

I am currently living with my wife in beautiful Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico.

I would like to expand and improve my skills by making myself available to other bands and projects. In generaly for people who are seeking to hire a drummer for gigs or recording sessions.

I'm fluent in rock, funk, hardcore, dub, ska, country and rock'n roll, I also play electronic drums and I'm familiar with drum sampling and looping.

No matter what music style or genre and no matter what location - I always give 100%!!!
